    Haysam Akkad, MD, FACP, FACC, FSCAI

    Dr. Akkad earned his medical degree from University of Aleppo Medical School, Syria, and completed his internal medicine residency at St. Frances Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Akkad completed his fellowship in critical care medicine at State University of New York Health Science Center, Syracuse, NY. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at MCP/Hahnemann University, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Akkad also completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at University of Pittsburg Medical Center, Pittsburg, PA. Dr. Akkad has been practicing cardiology since 2002. He is certified by ABIM in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.

    Dr. Akkad is married with 3 children. He enjoys live concerts, biking and traveling around the world.

  • Douglas Guy, MD, FACC, FSCAI

    Douglas Guy, MD, FACC, FSCAI

    Dr. Guy earned his medical degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE where he also completed his internal medicine residency. Dr. Guy completed his fellowship in cardiology at University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX. Dr. Guy has been practicing in cardiology since 1991. He is certified by ABIM in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.

    Dr. Guy enjoys hiking in the mountains, snow skiing and traveling.

  • Jitendra Pandya, MBBS, MPH, RPVI

    Jitendra Pandya, MBBS, MPH, RPVI

    Dr. Pandya earned his medical degree from BJ Medical College, India and completed his internal medicine residency at Creighton University, Omaha, NE. Dr. Pandya completed his fellowship in cardiology at Creighton University, Omaha NE. He also completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. Dr. Pandya has been practicing since 2017. He is certified by ABIM in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.

    Dr. Pandya is married and has 2 young boys. He likes to spend time attending their sporting events. And when the opportunity arises, he enjoys traveling.

  • Kiley Meyer, APRN, FNP-BC

    Kiley Meyer, APRN, FNP-BC

    Kiley is board certified family nurse practitioner who earned her nursing degree at Clarkson College, Omaha, NE and continued on to complete her Master of Nursing Practice in 2011. She previously worked as a registered nurse with Nebraska Medicine for 5 years prior to working with Clarkson Heart Center. She has been partnering closely with Dr. Akkad since 2012 and is involved with patient care whether in the clinical setting or the hospital.

    Kiley is happily married with 2 wonderful children and 2 golden retrievers. She enjoys playing golf, watching her kid's sporting events and enjoying time with her family.

    Callista Komasincki, DNP, FNP-C

    Callie earned her nursing degree from the University of Ne. Medical Center, Omaha, NE in 2012. She began her nursing career at Nebraska Medicine working in a telemetry unit for 3 years until transferring to labor & deliver. She continued working while completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Ne. Medical Center in 2019. Callie began her nurse practitioner career with Clarkson Heart Center in 2019 and works closely with all of our physicians.

    Callie enjoys live music and spending time outdoors with her family, friends, and two big pups.

  • Julie Behrens, BS, CNMT, RT (N)

    Julie Behrens, BS, CNMT, RT (N)

    Julie earned her bachelor's degree in Radiation Sciences from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE. She has worked as a nuclear medicine technologist in cardiology since 2006 and Clarkson Heart Center was fortunate to have her join our team in 2010. Julie performs quality diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under supervision to ensure accurate and appropriate imaging information for use in diagnosis and treatment.

    Julie is married with three young boys, Beau, Evan and Nolan. She loves watching them play all kinds of sports! When she is not working, you will find her reading a good book, going for a run or trying a new recipe in the kitchen.
